Helping Brainz is a registered weekend volunteer group which aims to help build democracy by creating self-reliant citizens, developing respect for the experience of others and encouraging dialogue.

Helping Brainz

Helping Brainz encompasses this by engaging their weekends in empowering the underprivileged by educating & training them, conducting “Chaipe-Charchas” with the women and age-old from the rural areas, facilitating counselling and classroom trainings for the underprivileged on weekends, spreading awareness about health & hygiene, cleanliness, international peace, respect for women & age-old, and last but not the least, environment. Helping Brainz collaborates with Corporate Social Responsibility  (CSR) councils for fund raising and driving the community service, thereby polishing the human approach towards community.

Helping Brainz believes in connecting brains blessed with capabilities, engineering and motivating the youth, rising by lifting others, encouraging communications as a panacea for bringing in development to the communities (since communication can even cure cancer, so why can’t we use it to cure diseases like poverty, illiteracy, atrocities against women and child labour), teaching and educating through experience, giving a professional approach to the nation’s development, empowering the ‘rural’ India, which is the treasury for the nation’s development. Educating the underprivileged about law & compliance and government’s policies at grass-root levels; using one’s skill set for community development by dedicating a weekend for contributing their mite to the community.

We believe that Social Work is beyond philanthropy, donations, showing empathy and sympathy

Founded by Yedhukrishna Menon, in 2012, as a Facebook page to encourage corporate professionals and students for giving back to the community, Helping Brainz today, after completing  277+ Saturdays of social-working, have reached and motivated 8000+ underprivileged and their families from 10+ untouched rural areas of India, which also includes 250+ empowered rural women,  5 old age homes, 10+ rural schools,  5 International Peace Congresses,  with the help of 500+ volunteers and 50+ dedicated weekend social development consultants from 6 different states, 15 Indian and International interns,  and 10 experienced panel members and 30+ partner-organizations.
