SUMMARY:Anti-Tobacco Campaign
DESCRIPTION:Chewing tobacco is known to contain at least 28 cancer-causing chemicals\, medically known as carcinogens. The main carcinogens in chewing tobacco are the tobacco-specific nitrosamines (TSNAs). Some of the other cancer-causing agents found in chewing tobacco are formaldehyde\, acetaldehyde\, arsenic\, benzopyrene\, nickel\, and cadmium. Many people mistakenly believed that snus is a safe form of chewing tobacco because it is steam-heated rather than fermented when produced in Norway or Sweden\, causing it to have fewer nitrosamines. However\, snus still contains a number of cancer-causing chemicals. Snus made in America is not necessarily processed in the same way as in Norway or Sweden. \n\n\n\n\nHelpingBrainz.Org’s HealthCare Awareness Team led by Dr. Vasundhara Agarwal would be hosting an anti-tobacco campaign at EFRAH\, Madanpur Khadar. The event will consists of :\n\n\n\n– Talk Shows Awareness Campaigns\n\n* Presentations\n* Discussions on side effects of tobacco\n* Easy tips for quitting tobacco\n\n\n– Movie Show\n– Congratulatory Ceremony.\n\n\n\n\n\nThis event will be conducted in association with HCLT Foundations. People participating/contributing in this awareness campaign will Dr. Vasundhara Agarwal (Project Manager\, HelpingBrainz.Org)\, Dr. Nidhi Garg (Dentist\, New Delhi)\, Dr. Eishita Misra (Dentist\, New Delhi) and Ainee Tanwir (Student\, IT College – Lucknow).
